Through a highly competitive contest Cours Florent offers students the chance of obtaining a one-year scholarship to study Acting in Paris. Cours Florent is committed to rewarding and supporting the best candidates that have proven their talent et demonstrated their acting skills. This is the reason why the school will organize an acting contest to determine who will be granted Acting in English scholarships. 

Cours Florent’s Acting in English is a three-year comprehensive program which aims at training students at becoming professional actors. It includes interpretation classes, technical classes (physical training, voice training, etc.), master classes with renowned professional actors, characterization classes, etc.

The admissions to the 2017 Free English Scholarship audition are now open till the 28th of April! Audition now and try to win your place at Cours Florent!

Contest schedule: 

• Round 1 (last two weeks of May 2017): 

The candidates must present:  A three-minute contemporary monologue in English (20th or 21st century), AND a three –minute monologue in verse in English

• Round 2 (first two weeks of June 2017): 

The candidates chosen for the second round are asked to perform a specific scene in English selected by Cours Florent. The other part will be performed by a student of Cours Florent.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be over 17 and have completed high school or equivalent.
• An excellent level of English is required (approx. IELTS 6.0).
